CD Teruel beaten at the Nueva Condomina by a clinical Real Murcia (4-0)

CD Teruel were beaten on Sunday at the Enrique Roca Stadium by Real Murcia (4-0) on matchday two of Primera Federación, in the team's first away trip of the season and against one of the promotion candidates, before some 15,746 spectators.
Kiko Ramírez repeated the back five from the league opener and made changes in midfield and on the flanks: Hugo Redón started alongside Albisua, Edu Gallardo took the left side and Goyo Medina the right, with Relu, Pablo Felipe and Álvaro López as centre-backs, Llácer and Joserra as full-backs and Sergio Moreno up front.
The hosts started determined to impose their status as favourites and went ahead in the 17th minute, when Joel Jorquera headed in a cross from Álvaro Bustos after having hit the crossbar from a free-kick. Teruel responded by stretching the play through Sergio Moreno and Edu Gallardo, appealed for a penalty around the twenty-minute mark that the review did not award, and tested Dani Jiménez before the break, reached at 1-0.
After the restart the rojillo coach turned to the bench with a double change that switched the shape: Mario Sesé for Goyo Medina and Miguel Romera for Pablo Felipe, moving to a 4-3-3. With that adjustment the team stepped forward, showed good judgement on the ball and had the clearest chance of the match through Sesé, who got in behind his marker and faced the goalkeeper without reward.
In that better spell came Murcia's second goal, a fine strike from the edge of the box by Javi Moreno (54′). Ramírez brought on Moraitis for more attacking presence and the Greek was involved in a move that ended in the net, ruled out for a previous foul. As the minutes passed and with the hosts' substitutions, Murcia regained control and extended their lead through Cristo Romero (69′), assisted by Jorquera, and Jorquera himself for the final 4-0 (87′).
CD Teruel now return to Pinilla, where they host Real Jaén on Saturday 12 September at 18:45, aiming to keep growing and take points in front of their fans.
