A left-footed 1.83 m central midfielder who can also play at centre-back, Relu stands out for his composure on the ball, his ability to balance the team and his tactical intelligence. Kiko Ramírez uses him as a holding midfielder and, in some matches, as a third centre-back.
Born in Madrid, he came through the academies of Real Madrid, Rayo Vallecano and Atlético de Madrid. In July 2017 he agreed a move to Inter Milan, although the deal fell through and he ended up at Deportivo Alavés. He made his Segunda División debut with AD Alcorcón and in 2019 signed for Borussia Dortmund. He later played for Getafe B, Levante B, Cacereño, Villanovense, Yeclano Deportivo and Sestao River.
He arrived at Pinilla in July 2025 and renewed in July 2026. He is a fixture in the Rojillo starting XI and one of the leading voices in the dressing room.
«We want to give something back to the fans, who are fully behind us»
