A goalkeeper with a big frame (1.90 m), Amador Zarco brings presence in the box, reliability between the posts and experience at this level. He is CD Teruel's first-choice goalkeeper and one of the leading voices of the Rojillo defence.
Born in Benalmádena and a product of Real Betis' academy, he has travelled across Spanish football with Guijuelo, CD El Palo, Haro Deportivo and Juventud Torremolinos. He was a key figure in Yeclano Deportivo's promotion to Primera RFEF, a season in which he conceded just 14 goals in 20 matches, and he then spent two seasons in goal for CD Guadalajara.
He arrived at Pinilla in the summer of 2026 and has been the starter since the first league matchday. In the derby against SD Huesca, in the last action of stoppage time, he cleared a ball off the line that VAR confirmed had not crossed it.
«We are approaching it with the excitement and ambition of bringing the first three points back to Teruel»
Amador Zarco
