A 1.81 m midfielder, Sander Ballero stands out for his composure on the ball, his intensity and his ability to bring balance and running power to midfield.
Born in Terrassa (Barcelona), he combined tennis and football for years. At the age of 12 he left RCD Espanyol's academy and played for Damm, Jabac, CE Sabadell —making his first-team debut with them in Primera RFEF— and Betis Deportivo.
At CD Teruel he is taking on his first full season in a club's first-team squad, eager to get minutes and grow at this level.
